It is often used as a source of vitamin E for external application to the skin especially for burns, sores, and other skin problems. The antioxidant properties of vitamin E make wheat germ oil more stable to oxidation or rancidity than many other oils. Because of its heavy nature, and high vitamin E content, it is often used for severe dry, chapped, and cracked skin, as well as a soothing relief to conditions such as Psoriasis or Eczema, as well as being indicated for mature skin. In addition it’s also known to be beneficial for tired muscles, making good base oil for massaging tired or active (sports) muscles. - Almond oil contains 24% of linoleic acid. (poly-unsaturated fat). Used for daily care for most skins, almond oil is an excellent moisturizing oil and normally used daily for most skins. This oil is soft and provides comfort by moisturizing dry skin. This oil has no scent and is also an excellent carrier oil for massage therapy. - Chamomile, also called German Chamomile and wild Chamomile, is known to contain around 20 different Phytochemicals. Amongst its varied use it is an excellent massage and hair oil as well as for headaches (apply as a compress to head). |
