Thyme is considered anti-bacterial, and antiseptic and expectorant. Recommended for the treatment of infectious skin problemss and contact dermatitis. It is also useful in helping disinfect and heal oozing rashes from poison ivy and other. May add a few drops to your shampoo if you have gray hair as it has been known to help maintain dark hair.
