Essential oils not only affect the physical but also the mental and emotional aspects of our lives. The inhalation of certain essential oils has been associated with the release of brain chemicals that simulate various emotions. Benzoin oil has a sweet, woody and vanilla-like aroma. It is used as an essential oil to help cold sores, rashes, eczema, acne, bronchitis, coughs, colds, wounds, acne, eczema, psoriasis, muscle pain, circulation and nervousness. When purchasing essential oils, make sure they are 100% pure botanical extracts, not chemical reproductions of different fragrances. Chemical reproductions are not effective in aromatherapy because they do not evoke the same biochemical response as natural, pure essential oils. Herbal Choice's Benzoin Essential Oil comes in a 0.42oz amber glass bottle to help protect it from light. May be used with Herbal Choices carrier oils such as Almond & Jojoba as massage oils. Benzoin oil blends well with Lavender, Lemongrass, and Orange. Care: Do not use oils full strength. Always dilute them first. Keep essential oils out of reach of children.
